It’s time to shout about another MO Blues JAM NIGHT!
We’ll be jamming on March 16, over at Spectators Bar (232 E High in downtown Jefferson City).
This Night-Before-St.Pat’s jam will be the first Mo Blues jam where we’ll have The Gypsy Boys on hand as our ‘host band’.
The GypsyBoys are a band throwing a red-hot blues/rock iron into to the fire of the mid-MO music scene. If you’re a fan of the “heavy blues” likes of Stevie Ray, Joe Bonamassa, Hendrix, ZZ Top, Clapton (hey, you get the idea), you sure won’t want to miss their opening & closing sets. And if you’re a guest jammer, you won’t want to miss a chance to jump up with other players & follow in their soulful wake.
The Gypsy Boys are:
• Rich Robben – Lead vocals
• Chris Schott – Bass
• Bill Holman – Guitar
• Rick Walters – Harp, Sax
• Curt Sanders – Drums
As usual, our jam night ADMISSION IS FREE, but please plan to join in on a 50-50 raffle to support “Blues In the Schools”, and other Mo BLUES annual events.
JAMMERS: bring instruments, voices, stix, whatever, and take your turn with others on our blues stage after the opening set by the host band. It’s a cool way to make connections with other blues players and listeners, and get in some licks in front of an audience that’s hip to the blues. Come out and play!
